Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care aims to correct disorders of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. These disorders, when left uncorrected, can have a profound effect on our general health and overall well-being. While back pain, neck pain and headaches are among the more common conditions treated by chiropractors, muscle and joint pain in the arms and legs are also successfully managed with chiropractic care as well.

Tissue and joint injuries can be caused by a single traumatic event or through repetitive stress and strain. Injured tissues undergo physical and chemical changes that can cause inflammation, pain, and diminished function. Chiropractic treatment, when applied to the affected joints and tissues, will restore mobility, alleviate pain, decrease muscle tension, and allow for proper tissue healing.

The most common therapeutic procedure performed by Doctors of Chiropractic is known as a chiropractic adjustment. The purpose of an adjustment is to restore normal range of motion to a joint that is not moving optimally, or efficiently. An adjustment occurs when a controlled force is manually applied to an affected joint.

Chiropractic care is just another way to naturally feel better. From stress to injury, a skilled chiropractor can not only help you feel better but restore normal range of movement.
